Hasbro Product Reveals at Star Wars Celebration!

Hasbro was busy at Star Wars Celebration this weekend! Several new products were revealed during the Hasbro panel and they also introduced the new 3.75-inch Vintage Collection line, available in Spring 2018. The Hasbro Star Wars Fan Figure Vote for 2017 was officially kicked off as well. (You can submit your selections here at Coffee With Kenobi.)

Hasbro SDCC Star Wars Panel | Fan Figure Vote Winner and NEW Reveals

Did you cast your ballot in Hasbro’s Fan Figure Vote? The winner was announced today during Hasbro’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con and the next Star Wars fan favorite to get the 6″ Black Series treatment is Jaina Solo! She beat out Starkiller, Captain Rex, Mara Jade, Dengar, and Darth Talon. Talk about tough competition!

Also revealed during the panel were six fully articulated 6″ Black Series figures, 3 3/4″ scale figures, Luke Skywalker’s Return of the Jedi lightsaber, and die-cast helmets.

Once upon a time, the Expanded Universe (EU) of Star Wars opened up an outlet for me that helped sate my unyielding desire for all things in a Galaxy Far, Far Away. I consider myself a relative newbie to the now-titled Legends category of knowledge and stories, having only come into it about 10 years ago, but I have nonetheless become an intense follower. I have read – and own – countless novels, and have invested myself emotionally and mentally in its lore. When the announcement came in April of 2014, rendering the EU as basically a defunct sector of the Star Wars timeline, I was absolutely heartbroken. First, the cancellation of the Clone Wars series and now, this?! I didn’t know how much more my fangirl heart and soul could take!
