The discussion was moderated by Entertainment Weekly‘s Anthony Breznican and featured Rian Johnson, Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, Domhnall Gleeson, Adam Driver, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, Andy Serkis, and Gwendoline Christie.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi — New City, Characters, and Images Revealed by Vanity Fair

Yesterday we saw the four new limited-edition Vanity Fair covers for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. They promised us even more images today and have delivered in a massive way! Not just the new images, though, but new character and city reveals as well.

With the new images released today, all captured by the great Annie Leibovitz, we get a closer look at the characters we already love — Luke, Rey, Leia, Kylo Ren, Poe, Finn, and more — but we also get our first look at new characters such as Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, played by Laura Dern, and a shady grifter-type character called “DJ,” played by Benicio Del Toro.

Star Wars at SDCC 2015 – Images from the Panel and the Surprise Concert! — Part 1

Star Wars: The Force Awakens made a big splash at SDCC this past Friday! The exciting panel featured J.J. Abrams, Kathleen Kennedy, and Lawrence Kasdan, along with many of the new cast members — Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, and Domhnall Gleeson — as well as returning legends Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford!

As if all that wasn’t enough for fans in attendance, everyone got a huge surprise when J.J. Abrams announced that the entire audience of Hall H — around 6,500 people! — were invited to attend a surprise Star Wars concert not far from the SDCC venue.

Also able to attend the concert were 100 very lucky Comic-Con attendees, along with one guest each, as a thank you from Verizon just for being customers. Now that’s some cool customer service right there!

Star Wars Highlights from the Reddit AMA with Oscar Isaac and Domhnall Gleeson

Oscar Isaac and Domhnall Gleeson both star in the new movie Ex Machina, but they’re also co-stars in a little movie called Star Wars: The Force Awakens. While promoting the former during a Reddit AMA they also answered a number of Star Wars related questions. As expected, nothing major was revealed beyond what we already know – and there was not a whisper of what role Gleeson plays in the film (Isaac has been revealed as X-wing pilot Poe Dameron), but you’ll find the highlights of what they were able to address enumerated below.
