Forces of Destiny: Daring Adventures Volume 1

Covering three Forces of Destiny stories, Sabine (during the Rebels Era), Rey (during the events of The Force Awakens) and Padme (during the Clone Wars era), this book is really a retelling of some of the YouTube shorts we saw last month, with one key exception.  The Sabine story is new, and features Sabine trying to convince her old friend Ketsu Onyo to join the Rebellion.


Rogue One

As we wrap up this adaptation in this penultimate issue, we get a window into the mind of Bodhi Rook as he pilots Rogue One down to Scarif and is tasked with staying with the ship until he is needed.  Other new scenes help fill out some details not seen in the film.

This is the fourth installment in this series, taking place a few years after the rise of the Empire.  The two children, pet Monkey-thing, and cobbled-together droid are being pursued by the Empire with a bounty on their heads.  Are the children able to escape a local bounty hunter who has managed to get her hands on them, and what other elements from the canon have been folded into this story.
