Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher were both in attendance at the Golden Heart Gala for The Midnight Mission at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills earlier this week. The Midnight Mission is a charity organization that renders aid to the homeless, and 2014 marks its 100th anniversary.

In addition to the anniversary celebration, Fisher was honored at the event for her work on behalf of the charity. Other honorees included Denise Salazar (executive assistant to musician Richie Sambora) and Arlene Van Dyke (renowned make-up artist and wife of Dick Van Dyke).

Mark Hamill expressed his congratulations on Twitter:

Congratulations on an honor well-deserved, Ms. Fisher!

BTW… Mr. Hamill? That beard? We love it!!
