IDW Publishing has adventure galore for readers of its all-age Star Wars Adventures series in April, including droid tales featuring C-3PO and IG-88, as well as the publisher’s first Star Wars annual, that sees Luke and Leia on a desperately needed diplomatic mission. Read on for more detail!
First up is Star Wars Adventures #9, with stories written by John Barber and Nickolas Brokenshire and art by Chad Thomas and Brokenshire.
The issue also sports a variant cover by Tony Fleecs.
In the issue, IDW says, “Droids take center stage in both stories of this comical and exciting adventure! C-3PO might be in over his head as he takes on a new job, and IG-88 is determined to capture his crafty bounty!”
The issue sports covers by Thomas and Brokenshire, is 32 pages and will sell for $3.99
Later that month, writer John Jackson Miller writes and Jon Sommariva illustrates a tale about Luke and Leia and does the cover, too.
The 48-page annual will sell for $7.99.
The main story?
“With Leia injured, it’s up to Luke to undertake a sensitive diplomatic mission with the easily irritated Sarkans! What should be a routine meeting soon turns into an action-packed adventure with the fate of the galaxy on the line!”
You know what a Sarkan is. You’ve seen one before in A New Hope.
Look for some extra content, too, in the annual, including stories with other Star Wars characters.Powered by Sidelines
