Looking for the perfect Star Wars gift for that special someone? Want to give a friend some not so subtle hints about what you want to receive this Christmas? Coffee With Kenobi has you covered with a Christmas gift guide extravaganza, brought to you by members of the Coffee With Kenobi family. Get those shopping lists ready for some of the very best collectibles in the world of Star Wars!
It’s difficult to narrow down the ever-expanding list of highly-prized Star Wars collectibles. There are so many wonderful things to choose from! For my pick, let’s go for two unique items.
1) The Gillette Rogue One Gift Packs. Each one features a collectible box that is worthy of display, and each features one of Gillette’s patented razors, shaving cream, and much more. Check out the specs (as well as the box art) below:
Rogue One and Gillette Special Edition MACH3 Gift Pack (Stormtrooper) 1 MACH3 Turbo razor, 1 razor refill, 1 Gillette Series Sensitive Shave Gel MSRP: $9.99
Rogue One and Gillette Special Edition ProShield Chill Gift Pack (Rebel Alliance) 1 Gillette ProShield Chill razor, 1 razor refill, 1 ProGlide 2-in-1 Shave Gel MSRP: $9.99
Rogue One and Gillette Special Edition ProShield Gift Pack (Death Trooper) 1 Gillette ProShield razor, 1 razor refill, 1 ProGlide 2-in-1 Shave Gel MSRP: $9.99
Rogue One and Gillette Special Edition ProShield Regimen Gift Pack (Death Trooper) 1 Gillette ProShield razor, 1 razor refill, 1 organizer, 1 ProGlide 2-in-1 Shave Gel, 1 Gillette Clear Gel Antiperspirant/Deodorant MSRP: $14.99
2) The Hasbro Star Wars Rogue One Rapid Fire Imperial AT-ACT. What walks like an AT-AT, uses your cell phone to remote control, comes with three 3.75 exclusive Rogue One figures, and walks by itself? This beauty! It’s a hefty MSRP of $399.99, so you’ll have to save your pennies (as well as practice Jedi patience, since they appear to be back-ordered), but it’s well worth it. But, I’m burying the lead. It. Walks. By. Itself! Check out this link, and get out the mop bucket, because you are going to drool.
Death Star Bluetooth Speaker
My Star Wars wish list isn’t as verbose as others folks out in the galaxy, but I’m what I like to call a “quiet collector”. CWK listeners and friends know that I don’t go out of my way to get very much and I’m ok with that. Although, this holiday season it seems to be the trend of building giant battle stations, so I figured why not get one of my own!
The Star Wars Death Star levitating sound system is one item I gotta have. This Bluetooth connected device plays your favorite Imperial (or any song with a killer beat) tunes while floating and spinning around as if connected to the Force. Use your smartphone or tablet device to pump out music at touch of button and the Death Star even glows and lights up to help set the tone just right for those secret missions.
My wife suggests that I’m “monetary reserved” when it comes to collectible items and this price point is around $200 at various outlets, but if you’re looking for a very cool speaker that will impress the your friends and dark lords, this is the one for you. So if the great Bendu is sliding down my chimney this year, my R2 unit’s holo-list would definitely have this on it!

Star Wars Comics
Hankering for a holiday gift that inspires not just your Star Wars fandom but your love for comics, too? You’ll have scant problems ticking of those two boxes, given the plethora of Star Wars titles published by Marvel since it resumed the license from Lucasfilm in 2015.
In fact, with ongoing runs of Star Wars, Star Wars: Poe Dameron and the just concluded Darth Vader, any fan of Star Wars is bound to be thrilled to get any of the five-issue collected editions in softback, but to go that extra mile, add that extra oomph, go for a hardcover.
More specifically, go for the Star Wars: Kanan Omnibus, which collects all 12 issues of the stellarly written and lavishly illustrated story of the popular Star Wars: Rebels character in stories that are swift and stitch together events of The Clone Wars with Rebels and, perhaps, into the Original Trilogy, too.
For fans who prefer their Star Wars comics more Original Trilogy, then you can’t go wrong with Star Wars: Heroes for a New Hope, a 344-page edition that collects three five-issue mini-series: Star Wars: Princess Leia, Star Wars: Chewbacca and Star Wars: Lando.
The three titles were stalwart examples of focusing on core characters in a way that not just expanded their reach and elevated their appeal, but added to their long legends, too. The stories are among the top faves of the crew of Comics With Kenobi, too.
As for stocking stuffers? Well, the first two issues of Star Wars: Doctor Aphra are in comic shops this month. Just saying.
Star Wars Rebels Funko Pops!
I have never been a big fan, much less understood the POPs craze that the majority of my friends acquired over the last year, that is, until about a month ago when it was announced that Funko was releasing a line of Star Wars Rebels POPs. That intrigued me. There hasn’t been too much Rebels merchandise released, and since that has become a focus of my collection, I have paid close attention to anything Rebels coming out.
For those of you unfamiliar with the POPs, they are essentially bobbleheads. Very well-made and details bobbleheads. Funko released eight Rebels-themed POPs, two of which are exclusives. The exclusives are Ahsoka Tano, which is found at Hot Topic stores, and a helmeted Sabine Wren, which can be found at Walgreens stores. The rest of the line includes the entire Ghost crew: Kanan, Hera, Ezra, Sabine (without helmet), Zeb, and my personal favorite, Chopper. Ashoka was released several months ago, while the rest were released on November 29.
The artistic detail of each in incredible. I just love how they did Sabine’s hair. Plus, the packaging includes the Rebels logo right on the front, making them perfect for the Rebels collectors on your shopping list. I know they are at the top of my list, especially Chopper.
Star Wars Imperial Assault
When the Seitters family gets together for game night we have a few “go to” games of choice that we all enjoy. The most intuitive and entertaining of these games is definitely Star Wars Imperial Assault. This is a Star Wars miniatures based game which is structured around a campaign driven by the choices made on each mission. If you enjoy story based board games and want one that truly captures the Star Wars Universe than this is a must buy!
Star Wars Imperial Assault has many add-on packs that can further enhance your campaigns and skirmish matches (much like X-wing and Armada). For the 2016 holiday season I am personally focusing on the Return to Hoth expansion. In this expansion you are given 16 more miniatures along with 37 double-sided map tiles! A full length campaign of 10 missions also comes with this expansion along with the ability to play 4-player skirmish matches. We have played the main campaign multiple times and it has not got boring yet but this will add an exciting new theme for us to bring our favorite characters into. The 4-player skirmish matches also give us the option to do a single battle skirmish instead of jumping into a full length campaign.
If you are a fan of Imperial Assault I would highly recommend you purchase it this year, just like I am!

The Art of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
One of the highlights of last Christmas, for me anyway, was redeeming an Amazon gift card for The Art of The Force Awakens. I’ve always loved the “art of” books released for the previous Star Wars films, so I knew this was a gift card wisely spent. I was not wrong!
This year is no different, really. New Star Wars movie, new “art of” book. I couldn’t be more excited! This year, The Art of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is at the top of my Christmas list. With the gorgeous depiction of K-2SO in the foreground, and the unique and all-new U-wing at the back, the cover promises riches inside! The book is written by Josh Kushins, and features forewords by production designers Doug Chiang and Neil Lamont, as well as Rogue One director Gareth Edwards.
The inside of the book has not been revealed just yet for fear of spoilers, but if previous installments are any indication, The Art of Rogue One will be filled with highlights of concept art — designs that made it into the film, and those ultimately left out of the final product. Sometimes the rejected designs are the most intriguing as they show different directions characters, places, or events could have gone. Who isn’t curious about the “what ifs?”
The Art of Rogue One clocks in at 256 pages, so there is no question about it being comprehensive. It’s also a must-have for any Star Wars fans/book lovers on your gift list. Even (or especially!) if that’s you!
You can pre-order The Art of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story here. Published by Abrams, it will be released on December 16.
Catalyst: A Rogue One Novel
It’s that time of year again! Yes, another Star Wars movie is upon us and, oh yes, the “Gift Giving” season too. And what gift goes hand-and-hand with your Rogue One ticket? Why Catalyst: A Rogue One Novel, of course! This novel is literally any Star Wars fan literary ‘Tour Guide’ and companion piece to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
StarWars.com wasn’t kidding when they classified this prequel piece as ‘Essential Reading,’ it truly is just that and so much more. This introductory story will give you an inside look at where our leading lady, Jyn Erso, comes from – her support system, morals, and spiritual beliefs. Yes, these foundations are important to her character and ‘who’ she is. Seriously, this a great gift for your Star Wars fan and your Rogue One ticket would make a nifty bookmark too!
Star Wars: Destiny
What do I want for Christmas? Star Wars: Destiny! This is a collectible card and dice game from Fantasy Flight Games. Now I know what your thinking… why would this be a great gift for Christmas? The game is priced around $15 for a starter deck and $3 for a booster pack, making this affordable for your friends and loved ones. Two starter decks are all you need to have a fun and enjoyable gaming experience where you can battle Kylo Ren and a First Order Stormtrooper against Rey and Finn! The game is very accessible and not as complex to learn as other games in the genre. Kids from 4 to 104 can enjoy playing this game together, and multiplayer rules exist. Booster packs allow for you to change out your characters and weapons for different ones, making the number of possible game experiences infinite. And the game is beautiful, with original Star Wars art and high quality design, this is the hottest game (in my opinion) coming to this industry and it’s Star Wars! You can drop a couple of booster packs in my stocking!
Rogue One LEGO U-Wing
One of my favorite collectibles for Star Wars has always been the Lego sets. Over the past dozen years, Lego has constructed and released dozens of sets featuring vehicles from the Star Wars galaxy including everything from X-wing fighters to the Jawas’ Sandcrawler. With each movie release, new sets have been created featuring the new vehicles of the films. The upcoming release of Rogue One is no different.
The Rebel’s U-wing debuts in Rogue One. Although how the U-wing will appear in the movie is still open, it has featured prominently in marketing for the film. Lego has gotten on board and released a U-wing model. Lego fans should be pleased. This set has 659 pieces and would likely take a couple of hours to complete building. It also includes five minifigures: a U-wing pilot, Jyn Erso, Bistan, Cassian Andor, and a Rebel Trooper.
Once completed, the model has wings that sweep back. The one drawback is that the scale doesn’t seem to be quite accurate to the movie depiction of the U-wing. For instance, the cockpit only fits one minifigure whereas the trailers have clearly featured multiple individuals in the cockpit. The model also has rockets that launch for those that like to engage in play with their Lego models.
This set would make an excellent gift for Lego fans and Star Wars fans. Younger children would of course need supervision with the small parts and launching rockets.
Geo Rebel Sweater
The “Geo Rebel” sweater is a must-get for me!! Currently featured at EMP (ships only to the UK), and soon to be part of a Rogue One fashion collection at Hot Topic, the sweater features the “cold shoulder” cutout detail, which is very much in vogue right now. The sleeves have a multi-textured element, making it visually interesting. The mullet bottom edging (no, not the hairstyle) allows it to be a great partner to a set of leggings! I’ve seen a very similar front design on a tank I recently purchased from The Disney Store, which makes me think we’ll be seeing this logo/design quite a lot! Both pieces are great additions to any fangirl’s wardrobe!
Happy Holidays, and may the fashion be with you!!
Star Wars Toothbrushes
From Rebels to Imperials, Jedi Knights to Knights of Ren, everyone can use the gift of better, more enjoyable dental hygiene. And this holiday season Firefly Star Wars toothbrushes provide exactly that. With Star Wars Lightsaber Light-Up Toothbrushes, masters and padawans alike can have fun brushing. These toothbrushes come in the shape of a lightsaber, have a flashing one minute timer, and have lightsaber song effects and quotes from the character whose lightsaber you’re using. And if you are looking for a cool collectible, these toothbrushes also come in an amazing tin that makes them perfect for collecting. Rey, Kylo Ren, Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Yoda lightsaber toothbrushes are available. These make a great stocking stuffer or an affordable, practical gift. Now clear your mind and let yours call to you!
