Now that I have a bit of a breather in my schedule (notice I said “bit” lol), I finally was able to make it over to the official Star Wars site to read Dan’s latest blog. As usual, it was insightful — and an enjoyable read! 🙂 I can’t wait for the next one!

By the way, did Cory create the accompanying artwork? Nice job! 🙂

The illustrations are from Ian Doescher’s book ‘William Shakespeare’s Star Wars.’

I really see Othello in Palpatine’s relationship with Anakin….always whispering in his ear those sinister suggestions of the similarities with Jedi and Sith; implying the Jedi don’t trust Anakin and have their own agenda; even muddying up his love for Padmé, creating then feeding the paranoia.
Enjoyed your Shakespeare parallels immensely and thanks for putting them in writing, where it really counts.
