Check Out This Video Tribute to 40 Years of Star Wars from The Bearded Trio!

Rob Wainfur, founder of The Bearded Trio and good friend of Coffee With Kenobi, has created a special video tribute to Star Wars in honor of the 40th Anniversary of its release. Here’s a brief description:

This is a compilation of interviews with cast members from Star Wars plugging and talking about the movie back in 1977. Sequels were mentioned, even back then. George Lucas hints that Luke is “interested” in Leia. Rumours of an ice planet in the sequel and Gary Kurtz talking about the new Kenner Star Wars figures about to come out.

Hope you like it. Happy 40th Anniversary Star Wars. Thank you for being a loyal friend for all these decades.

Star Wars Stickers – It’s Taken Over 30 Years But I’ve Completed An Album

359x400

In 1983 Return of the Jedi was released in cinemas and the eleven-year-old in me was hyped up beyond belief for the third Star Wars movie to grace our local big screen.  A new installment in the universe created by George Lucas. It didn’t disappoint and leaving the cinema I seemed to be more hyped after watching a Star Wars movie than the previous two. I wanted everything to do with the movie and any way possible to recreate the action packed scenes at home. I still collected the Kenner figures and the Topps trading cards from the previous movies along with The Empire Strikes Back sticker album. And it was the sticker album that I was really excited about for Return of the Jedi.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Soundtrack Review

I have to admit when the news broke that there was going to be another Star Wars movie I was excited as the next Star Wars fan.  But when they also announced the soundtrack was going to be by the maestro himself, John Williams, well my anticipation for the movie went shooting up to the Outer Rim.  I’ve been looking forward to listening to the soundtrack to Star Wars: The Force Awakens for quite some time and when it landed on my doorstep on the 18th I was like a kid  on Christmas morning.

The Force Is Strong With Madame Tussauds In London

madame tussauds star wars

Like a kid in a candy store is the best way to explain how I felt during my visit to Madame Tussauds in London. Situated in Baker Street, the attraction is one of the most popular sights with tourists and now the famous waxworks have a section dedicated entirely to Star Wars. I was in London for London Film & Comic Con but I found time to check out the new experience
