This marks the second annual give away of the Legends Library Card and the three year anniversary of the Legends Library Podcast. Luke and Randy are joined by this year’s winner, Cole Peel, from Alba, Texas. He chose the book Death Star to review, written by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry. Spanning a period of the three-year construction of the Death Star we learn of the lives of a band of characters that find themselves stuck on a super-weapon. This ragtag bunch of friends will do what they can to escape before the Rebellion attacks. Some make it to safety some are less fortunate. Tune in to find who escapes to fight another day.
The circle is complete!!!!! At least the New Jedi Order is complete. Luke and Randy close out the final chapter of the NJO this month. The Final Prophecy and The Unifying Force are the focus this episode, bringing the over 20 book series to an end. Jacen, Luke, and Zonama Sekot take on the last of the Yuuzhan Vong on Coruscant. In what seemed to be an endless battle only the “unifying force” could make the difference. They also announce the winner of this year’s Legends Library Card. Stover breaks all the rules in the best kinds of ways with this book. They also discuss Destiny’s Way written by Walter Jon Williams. Traitor contains the story of Jason Solo’s Yuuhzan Vong captivity and the very intense teaching from Vergere. Meanwhile, the fight against the Vong continues across the galaxy in Destiny’s Way. By the end of this episode, we learn the true motivation of Vergere who has become one of the most intriguing characters in Star Wars Legends!

Randy shares his thoughts on the young Jedi Knights carrying the weight of this section of the storyline and Luke talks about the impact Wedge still has in the battle against the Yuuzhan Vong. They also take some time to make fun of the villain of the week, Lord Nyax. It’s all faster and more intense.
