Entertainment Weekly Reveals New ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Covers, Exclusive Photos [Possible Spoilers]

Entertainment Weekly has revealed four exclusive covers for their December 1 issue dedicated to Star Wars: The Last Jedi, along with a gallery of still images seen before in previous trailers and teasers. The first three covers feature Kylo Ren and Rey, Finn and Rose, and Poe Dameron with Admiral Holdo. The fourth cover, featuring Luke Skywalker and General Leia Organa, is exclusive to Barnes & Noble. While there are no explicit spoilers in the images themselves, there are hints of what’s to come in the text. If you have been avoiding all new TLJ related images and content, feel free to look away.

What We Can Expect from Carrie Fisher in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ [Possible Spoilers]

Yesterday, Entertainment Weekly revealed exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi covers featuring Luke Skywalker and Rey, as well as a plethora of new images. These were just a taste of The Last Jedi coverage in the special fall movie preview issue scheduled for release this Friday. In addition, several features have been released online, and the latest turns its gaze to Carrie Fisher. The Last Jedi will be the last we see of Princess Leia in the films, and by all accounts she turned in a memorable performance.

In the past 38 years between A New Hope and The Force Awakens, the former Princess Leia, now dubbed General Organa, has found herself right back where she started, searching for her Only Hope. Granted, in A New Hope we are led to believe that Ben Kenobi is the only hope she is looking for, when in fact, it is Luke Skywalker. It’s always been him. They were separated in order to remain safe, safely anonymous and in time, when it was right, they were to be reunited. The force is a calling and when it calls, you cannot deny your destiny or that which is your family, especially if you happen to be a Skywalker.
